International Hour

If you’re a student from outside the United States, please consider joining us to discuss any questions you might have with Mame Mor Ndiaye, our Associate Dean of Admissions who works specifically with international applicants. This session is not a structured presentation. Instead, we’re hoping that you will come ready to engage with the Office of Admissions to learn more about Wake Forest from an international perspective. If you have specific questions about transitioning to Wake Forest from living abroad, this is the space to find answers.

Wake Forest prides itself on being a university that provides access and opportunity. For a growing population of Wake Forest students who are first-generation in college, we want to ensure that the means to acclimate, navigate, and succeed are available to them. In Fall 2023, we welcomed 145 new first-generation students; that represents a 45% increase over 2019. This increased cohort of students is a welcome sign that Wake Forest is becoming a destination for more first-generation students who see the University as a welcoming place of committed faculty and staff. However, our commitment to recruit and enroll first-generation students must be complemented by an equal commitment to making sure they thrive.

Wake 101: Coffee & Conversation with Current Students

Grab a coffee and danish, and join us for a virtual conversation with current WFU students about why you should consider Wake Forest. They’ll look forward to telling you about how Wake Forest will help you to understand yourself and society in new ways and from many different perspectives: research, discovery, performance, innovation, public engagement, creativity, and living in community. They’ll also share with you about how, here, you’ll surround yourself with smart, dedicated, passionate people from all over the world, who want to build a better society across government, business, non-profits, law, medicine, education, the arts, engineering, and the sciences. By the end, you’ll be wanting to take your coffee Old Gold and Black.
Live Virtual Campus Tours

Welcome to Wake Forest University! We’re a 5,400-undergraduate, test-optional, liberal-arts school in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, with a 10:1 student-faculty ratio, 50+ majors, and 60 minors. During this virtual campus tour with current Wake Forest student tour guides, we’ll take you inside residence halls, dining halls, and classrooms – but we’ll also tell you what happens outside the classroom.
